ESTABLISHED IN 1895
Chi Omega was founded on April 5, 1895, at the University of Arkansas by Jobelle Holcombe, Christina May Boles, Jean Vincenheller, and Alice Cary Simonds, with the help of local dentist Dr. Charles Richardson. Chi Omega is the largest women's fraternal organization in the world with more than 390,000 initiates from 181 collegiate chapters and 248 alumnae chapters.
